Everything was perfect. We were in December, we were worried about the temperature but completely unnecessarily - the fireplace in the suite heated the whole cabin quickly, adding a romantic, cozy atmosphere. Breakfast served in the morning at the door - bread, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, fresh juice. The whole cabin very clean, the bed very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. The owners were very nice and helpful, they responded promptly in case of problems. We had a temporary power outage, we called and immediately the problem was solved. We felt special and thank you very much for that. The whole stay allowed us to get away from reality for a while. We will definitely return, and recommend to everyone.

We loved everything about it!

Gorgeous property! Cabin on the mountainside overlooking the River! Includes a wonderful breakfast delivered up the trail to the cabin. The host offers an incredible platter of homemade foods and local foods for an extra price that was very worthwhile! The food was wonderful. The forest was wonderful. The host and cabin were wonderful.

The special setting in the forest makes it a one-time experience. The view seeing the river between the trees and hearing the songbirds in the morning gives you a feel of nature. The recommendations from the owner for viewoints and hiking were very helpful. He also recommended us very good restaurants.

This is such a unique and beautiful place. The accommodation is immaculate and the views from the deck are spectacular. I arrived in the rain and the fire was set up to be used, extremely easy and very cosy. The owners are kind and friendly and made me feel extremely welcome. The fresh breakfast delivered each morning is divine.

it's a bit difficult to drive up the road, just a bit. nothing too much, since it is an uphill dirt road. But I feel like it's all part of the experience of staying in a treehouse.

The location was the best, hidden away in a tree cabane. Super sweet. The breakfast is served every morning right on time with a good selection of food (and deliciously feeling like it's homemade). Absolutely loved it!

Juan and Karina greeted us with an amazing hospitality. Their friendliness and calm vibes definitely made our stay more unforgettable. The cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. We also had the most incredible view! Finally, the breakfast was delicious with fruits, warm homemade bread and pancakes, juices as well as jam, honey and cereals. They also took in consideration that I did not drink animal milk and offered me a plant based option. We plan to come back and highly recommend to anyone who wishes to connect with nature and Geres in a conformable environment :)

we spent some nights of our honeymoon at the treehouse and it was superb! it was clean, bed is super comfy, we loved the gorgeous view over Gerês, the staff/owners were very friendly, yummy breakfast served on our doorstep every morning at 9am on the dot. nothing bad to say about the place ❤️ definitely will be coming back when we have the chance next!

Simply put, this place was a dream. Peaceful secluded location with hiking trails accessible from the property. Cozy yet spacious treehouse cabins with incredible views. The region isn't touristy so many of our hikes we saw no one else. The breakfast every morning was an awesome heartfelt touch. My wife really loved all the little details that made the cabin extra cozy. Everything was spotlessly clean. We'll be back.

The view of the treehouse is magnificent and the owners are very welcoming to their guests. The tour that is provided by them, is very worthwhile and gives you relaxing and fine look of the natural reserve.

If you stay more that 1 night it’s usually nice to have a dresser—not only to put away some of your things but to also have another flat surface to put things on. The room did not have one and we struggled with digging thru our suitcases laying on the floor.

The room was very nice and had an amazing view of the valley and reservoir between the trees. The shower was hot and there was a pellet stove in the room for cold evenings or mornings. The breakfast was just like in the pics-a cute basket filled with freshly baked bread, pancakes and jam, honey, fruit, etc. If you get the chance, order the charcuterie board for the evening. It is filled with bread, crackers, meats, cheeses, and dried fruits and nuts—also included in the price is a local vinho verde. It is amazing. The kitchen is nicely equipped with plates and silverwear, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, and mini dishwasher.

You can hear the street, although it is not busy at all at night. In March, you needed to use the heating oven late at night and in the morning, which worked like a charm, however it makes a constant and also a periodic sound...we blocked it with earplugs during the night.

It was a lovely stay. Great hosts, quiet and relaxing accommodations, the view was very nice. Upon arriving, we were able to hike up above the property to see the feral horses.

The only drawback is the little traffic noise from down the hill, but nothing that will jeopardize your zen mode.

If you are looking for a relax time, look no further. Amazing treehouse in the middle of the nature, the perfect place to have that time off that you much need. If you are lucky, you can even see wild horses.

Our stay at Secret de Geres was truly magical and definitely our favourite place during our visit to Portugal. The cute tree house was nicely designed with focus on the surrounding nature, located in a peaceful forest on a hill with breathtaking sunset views. We could really feel the love and care the owners put into this place, which contributed greatly to the overall experience. They were really nice people, welcoming, hospitable and responsive to our queries. The breakfast with freshly baked bread and pancakes, which was beautifully presented in a basket delivered to your door, is also hard to forget about. This stay was a very unique experience which touched our souls and will stay in our minds for a very long time. For those looking for an escape from a busy life, this one is highly recommended.

The weather .. but even with rain the bungalow was amzing and cosy :)

Everything was great. The bungalow was perfectly clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. Would have loved to stay longer than 2 nights. The view was one of the best ones we ever had and the breakfast was great too. Highly recommend!
