I would slightly improve moisture management in the house. With the changeable Azores weather and the many water attractions on the island (warm springs, Mosteiros, Ponta da Ferraria), you can easily get wet, and with the general humidity of the air - it is difficult to dry out. Maybe it is worth considering an automatic dryer (e.g. in a common space?)

At first, we thought that finding a place to sleep in the Nordeste area might be a problem, but it turned out that getting there was easy, quick and pleasant. We managed to tour the entire island. The place itself is a great place to go with a small group of friends. Peace and quiet and beautiful views. The swimming pool, even when cold (we were at the beginning of May), is illuminated and refreshing. A very nice treat for visitors in the form of local products. Great contact with the landlord. The house itself is very well equipped, perfect for a few days. A big plus - a washing machine and super comfortable mattresses (they come in handy after an intensive tour of the island ;))

Quiet and private location and the views to the seaside from the house and swimmingpool. .Very nice pergola area near swimmimgpool to sit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Friendly and helpfull host Mario!

The property with pool and outdoor kitchen and apartment were well maintained and clean, like in a professional hotel. The apartment itself was spacious and equipped with really every you might need (from extra blankets, towels, books etc.). The kitchen was super well equipped. Mário was a super nice host, responded swiftly and even provided us with breakfast basics (coffee, milk, bread, jam, butter, eggs and fruit!) for the first mornings. We stayed a week and wished we could have stayed longer. There really is nothing to complain about - it’s the perfect place to stay!

The place is perfect. Somebody might not fall in love with Nordeste - no good restaurants and very small supermarkets but truth is that we visited in the lowest of low season.

Stylish, clean and cosy place with hospitable hosts. The house has beautiful garden with a view of the ocean. We loved to have a morning coffee at the porch. One of the most beautiful trails of SM (alongside the cliffs) is within walking distance from the house. It has everything you need,incl. washing mashing and basic kitchen equipment.

Apartments are located in beautiful and rather sparsely populated area less popular among tourists. Sorroundings are hilly pastures and meadows, and the starting point for hiking the highest mountain of the island is some 10 minutes by car. We spent five nights in the lesser apartment and definitely it was one of our best stays ever. Both interior and outsides are designed with great taste, and there was absolutely everething you would need during your stay. And a herb garden is an icing on a cake.

Nothing, everything was perfect. The location exceed our expectations.

The location was beautiful with an amazing view, the place was very clean and every detail was exactly though through, a truly cosy and beautifully designed place. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome with small, tasty details. You must try his pizza, it is very delicious and you can enjoy eating it with a beautiful view from the outside kitchen. There was enough space to park on the facility itself. Thank you Mario for making our honeymoon very special. 🙂

Beautiful spot on the north east corner of S. Miguel. Lovely houses, beautifully renovated and decorated , very modern and not Ikea. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nice welcome basket! We definitely recommend it.

We had an amazing stay at Casas de Chamine. The design of the property is lovely and the perfect quiet, remote spot. We also had an amazing dinner cooked by the host in the wood burning stove! Definitely reccommend staying here during your travels to the azores
