Amazing property, well kept, peaceful, surrounded by nature. Green, with forest sounds and hammocks to hang around. Plenty of activities to choose from, incl. horseriding classes, golf, kayaking, tennis etc. Restaurant top notch, with great serving culture and politeness all around. Nice little shop with local produce.

Lovely peaceful location, the hotel complex has been beautifully restored with excellent facilities. Great on site restaurant providing excellent meals & drinks. Breakfast was also excellent with a very large choice of food available. Overall a delightful property.

We had a situation when arriving guest was given by mistake keys to our room, which they entered and realised that room is already occupied, we were out, in the restaurant having something to eat. I understand that mistakes happen, but we only found out about it because people who entered our room came to the restaurant asking who stays in the room number .... and they apologised for entering our room. They were then swiftly given another room, but no one from the reception called us to tell us about this incident, which I would expect from such a professional hotel. I mentioned this to the ladies at the reception when I checked out and was given a box of chocolates with apologies.

This place is a hidden gem! This wasn't our first stay in this hotel, but first time with dog and this hotel is very pet friendly, our dog was allowed in the restaurant's outside seating area, so we didn’t have to leave him in the room for dinner nor for breakfast. Lovely swimming pool which my daughter always enjoys during our stays. Very friendly staff during check in and in the restaurant. We arrived early and lady at the reception was very helpful, so we didn’t have to wait long to check in. Hotel is set in beautiful grounds, there is plenty of sitting areas, loungers and hammocks spread around also large open spaces for dog to run around.

Although the quality of food was great we didn't like the limited restaurant menu. Couldn't eat there more than 2 nights in the row. It's a shame there are not more 'normal' choices like pierogi/pasta. The rooms on the east side of the hotel should have blackout curtains or shutters as it was way too bright in the room in the morning.

Fantastic place. Great spa facilities and we loved the specious, beautifuly decorated rooms. Good night's sleep in very comfortable beds. Breakfast was plentiful and of great quality food. Outdoor spaces well mentained and lovely staff at reception and throughout all the facilities.

I disliked the fact that some of the SPA facilities were only active during the weekend. It was disappointing that the Pub on the premises was only opened on the weekends. Sadly, the quality of materials used in the room was disproportionate to the price. Finally, considering I have stayed there for 5 days, charging for bathrobes and slippers felt a little petty.

I very much enjoyed the stay in Ostoja, however in the future I would choose a warmer month (i.e. April onwards). Thare are many nice outdoor activities that I could not enjoy due to weather. I liked the fact that this place is filled with history, but also coherent aesthetics throughout the whole property. The food in the restaurant was amazing, however breakfasts were getting a little boring after 3 days (I've stayed there for 5 days).

Lack of valet and concierge services, where a guest has to find its room waking there alone. Guests like to be pampered, and not to be just directed with fingers: go there, ask this and that. Guests without own car has no way to get to the beach or other venues...

As a name Ostoja suggests, it is a refuge. Place to rest...

I went to the hotel and asked for a refund as I had to leave earlier. I'm a regular client at the hotel (+- 1/month). They confirmed me that they would refund it if they got the request from booking.com. Unfortunately they didn't. Quite a bad experience.
