Cozy appartament very close to tongariro national park. Great also for the self check-in after the 7pm. All the information that host left for us were clear and we found our room in a while.

I think the outdoor bath could be more private. Definitely would’ve loved to have used it but I did feel a little uncomfortable with it being rather exposed.

Loved how spacious the room was and the water pressure of the shower.

The ‘bath’ was somewhat exposed - really not a lot of privacy. Unfortunately trees lost leaves and quite open. A privacy screen might have been nice.

Staff were very friendly and helpful! The room was very comfortable, we could not complain about the facilities as we had opted for shared. Kitchen was adequately equipped although I did have to tighten a couple of saucepan handles that were very loose.

the cabin was ample for two people. i think 4 would be cramped and sofa bed not great. Better to have a table and two comfy chairs and more space for preparing foods as there's a microwave. A little more privacy - planting more screening out the front of cabin would be good.

The bunk beds aren't very comfortable, so beware of you've got back pain or something like that. The small washbasin in the room was a bit clogged, so we didn't use it. Out of the 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer were operational, but both were particularly dirty (not great if you expect clean laundry to come out...), and the dryer was so full of lint and dirt (deep inside it -- the filter didn't work well or wasn't cleaned enough apparently) that it was effectively not drying anything at all.

Large and comfy common space, with a clean kitchen and lots of books + toys for kids. The shared bathroom and showers were clean and welcoming as well.

Kitchen was a little dated and probably needs a refurb in the near future, however it was clean and had everything we needed.

Clean and close to local walls and walks and sightseeing. Easy to check in and pretty well equipped. Great value for money

No real privacy for the outdoor bath. There was a kids playground just meters from the pod and you could perfectly hear your neighbours, so it was hard to peacefully enjoy the bath. The pod was actually a container so there was heavy condensation on all windows. No real view of the mountains around and there was a road just behind the unit, so traffic noise.

Room was comfy. Booked it because of the bath. The staff were very friendly.

The Chalet was cold most of the time as it didn't get any sun and we had to put the heaters on occasionally. The shower leaked so the floor was wet most of the time.

Great location, fantastic staff to offer tips about places to eat (go to Schnapp’s Bar for delicious and plentiful food) and alternative hikes. Very nice family friendly vibe with trampoline and ping pong table, inviting communal kitchen and space. Though we stayed mainly in our room/suite as it had a kitchenette and living area which was very comfy and WiFi excellent. Our room didn’t have a tub to soak in after a long hike, but there is an option to book. Also laundry facilities on site. Plentiful parking. Definitely recommend!

The room was super cold, I had to keep the heater on all afternoon and through the night. In the morning, all the windows were really wet. Could have used a small (even foldable) table in the room.

The terrace was nice, the shared kitchen and lounge were great and very well equipped. The room was of a good size for one person and most importantly, it was clean.

We ended up in a pod. We were 3 adults and found it quite uncomfortably small for 3 of us.

I had booked the accommodation for the wrong date & the owner kindly charged me less for the night we arrived and found us alternate accommodation. The pod was exceptionally clean.
