I liked everything about our stay!

The staff was extremely helpful during the setup of the stay and even helped plan some activities for the stay outside of the hotel. Anytime we needed anything, they were already a step ahead. The building was absolutely stunning. I am critical when it comes to design, and they really did a wonderful job curating this space without compromising the experience of the local culture. The breakfast was delicious and having snacks and drinks around the common areas was a nice touch and convenient.

Prime location within blocks of everything. Really cool vibe, good music, wide open courtyard for chilling, breakfast, etc. Massive rooms, nice king bed, A/C, great shower, fridge with complimentary drinks, everything you could ask for. The staff was tremendous, especially the young guys at the front desk. Great vibe and very helpful with suggestions on what to do/where to go. Also spoke perfect English. Thanks again, guys! Awesome bakery across the street (Boulenc) and authentic restaurant right around the corner (Los Animes or something like that, awesome tlayudas and cochinita tacos).

The thoughtfulness of everything during our entire stay was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and the little touches really showed. The hotel itself was so well designed and beautiful throughout, could not recommend this place enough!

It’s expensive. The rooms could do with better storage. Nothing else!

This is a stunning little hotel in a bustling part of oxaca! Close to everything. The rooms are just breathtaking. Clean, well maintained. The little water feature in the courtyard is beautiful and our daughter enjoyed the swings. The breakfast was just spectacular!! At par with any of the fancy restaurants in the city. The kitchen staff were very accommodating, cooking for us an hour early when we had to be out for a day trip early in the morning. There are evening snacks which our daughter loved. The front desk staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. They gave us the impression of being a concierge, which we realised they perhaps were not, as their knowledge on celebrations in the city wasn’t exactly up to date for some of the events. But that’s perhaps on us. Overall this was a great stay which we would gladly repeat.

It is a historical building, so most rooms have limited natural light, but the room comfort really compensates it.

Best reception team! Super helpful to find great spots in Mexico, and care a lot about their guests. Hotel is super central, in a historical building, a lot of charm! The common areas are very nice, great to chill after a day of visit. Will come back for sure!

Lovely atmosphere and very helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. I arrived very late by bus from Mexico City and the hotel kindly arranged a taxi to pick me up which was very helpful.

The hotel claims to be a home away from home with very attentive service but based on our experience it failed to deliver this promise and we do not appreciate people or brands that they "do not walk the talk". Unfortunately on the day of check out my husband got seriously ill. We had a flight later in the afternoon (which we had eventually to cancel because he was not in a position to travel) and asked for late check out (to pay of course) in our room or to be moved to another room till the time of the flight so as my husband to be comfortable. The answer was that they were fully booked. Fair enough if this was the case nothing can be done BUT 1. The gentleman at the reception did not show the slightest interest or offer any help. 2. As we had to change the flight and stay longer in Oaxaca till my hubby was fit to travel we looked through booking for another hotel. Surprise, surprise there was availability in Pug Seal. Not only he was completely indifferent but he also lied. We moved to another hotel and the people who received us showed genuine interest and offered to help. I have rated the staff poorly and this goes specifically to the gentleman at the reception at the day of check out. To be fair all other people were polite and good at their job.

The strong points of this hotel are 3: 1. Central Location 2. Amazing breakfast, 3.Nice aesthetics of communal areas
