No AC and it was a heat wave while we were there (35-37 Celsius during the day and it only cooled down a bit at night) so it was a bit hard to sleep, but there was a giant fan which was helpful.

Loved the location, it was perfect for exploring Oaxaca. There was parking available inside the house as well, which was great as we had a rental car. The owner was super responsive and got back to us right away all the time. Easy self check-in. Great value

Had to wait 6 for someone to come to the property. The wrong key was provided for the outside door, so I had to wait again for an employee to come bring the right key (another 40 minutes). The staff was very nice. But it was an inconvenience.

Shower pressure was low and we didn’t have hot water on one day (which was resolved by the next morning). Ventilation in bedroom could be better but thankfully we had a standing fan that we could move between the bedroom and living room depending on where we were.

Good use of space, quiet, and comfortable living space meals and hangout. Extremely close to city centre and had a little supermarket just 5 minutes away. Balcony access was great, and host even left us some popsicles in the freezer for the hot afternoons.

The stairs to the second floor are a bit narrow and it’s sticky to carry up luggage. Wish I could extend my stay, but it was sold out!

Super friendly staff, Angelina welcomed us with some Oaxaca’s traditional nieve - which is oddly my most memorable dish from Oaxaca. The suite was spacious and comfortable, and I liked that the living room faced the street for a sense of being in the city, but the bedroom faced the courtyard and was quiet. Bed comfortable, shower nice and hot. We were able to park our motorcycles securely in the courtyard.

It gets loud outside at night, but that‘s the tradeoff when you stay that central. Earplugs are supplied, though!

Great location, enough space, very friendly host. Walking distance from the southern bus stations. Oxxo around the corner. 10 mins walk to the Zocalo. There’s a giant fridge and you can prepare coffee in the morning before starting the day. Recommended!

The road outside had too much traffic which made it noisy.

The apartment was very comfortable and well designed. It had everything we needed and was convenient for exploring the centre of Oaxaca and shopping for food from the 20 Novembre Mercado.

The shower was hot only once during our 3 day stay. Luckily, the weather was hot. The bed is also very very soft.

The apartment is safe and spacious. The room doesn’t back onto the street, which was a massive plus! There is also a balcony with a nice view! The owner was very communicative, friendly and adaptable. We could not have asked for more from here!

The living room is facing a very noisy road. It was unbearable for me to read or do any work. Fortunately the bedreom was quite but very hot day and night.

My room was hot -- the weather in Oaxaca was very (and apparently unusually) hot when I was there. There was a fan provided, but it took me a while to find it. It was hard that I could only connect with the owner through Booking.com. I don't think the owner was on the property 24/7; I had trouble with opening the outside door to get in my first evening, and the only was I got in was because other guests happened to be leaving and opened the door. Finally, something that might not be an issue for others: I like natural light and there was little. I was on the first floor, in the front of the building. The front "window" was a (well-locked; I felt very safe) door which was covered with heavy drapes. I couldn't open them without exposing the whole apartment. The other "window" was in the kitchen area and opened on the inner courtyard, and frosted. (In fairness, I was offered the opportunity to upgrade to a balcony apartment, but chose not to; I didn't understand how limiting the space I had would feel once I got there.)

It was convenient and clean, with some lovely touches -- shoe rack next to the bed, interesting art in the bathroom.
