We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaIt was the day before the eclipse. Mazatlan was flooded with visitors. The ones that had planned this special trip to see the total eclipse in advance and the short notice travelers, like us, that decided to pay triple but not miss the planetary event. The booking system for hotels and rentals was collapsing. The apartment that we had booked a couple of weeks ago was cancelled with a message (not officially on the app) and we found out just before arriving at night into the city. We sat at a coffee shop and frantically looked for any room available for the night. I wasn't so worried because we had the rental car, at least we were not going to sleep on the beach! But my husband cannot survive a night in the car due to a bad back. He was really concerned. When we found a room in this hotel, we thought we had lucked out. But when we arrived we learned that the booking system has been mistakenly offering rooms that were not available. More than ten people arrived here and there to find out they didn't have a room. A bug in the system. In our case it was late at night and when we arrived, the manager saw our situation and he really went out of his way to give us a solution. He let us stayed in one of the very nice couches in the lounge with the possibility of getting a room if there was a no-show. The cut off time for this is 1am. So we temporarily laid down in a comfy corner and luckily enough, the receptionist woke up us at 1:05 am with the good news that a room was available. I cannot thank enough Alberto, the manager and the staff. Real hospitality people. Needless to say if you browse the pictures, the hotel is super nice, the pool on the terrace amazing and made a great spot to watch the eclipse and the location is the best you can get in Mazatlan. Their excellent breakfast is the cherry on top. Don't miss this place.

United States of AmericaIt’s a new hotel, and yet one of the light switches blew a fuse. Also the safe didn’t work (they did replace it for us).
Excellent location in north Mazatlan. The staff were very attentive, taking care of mechanical issues immediately. The room was quiet, very clean, waterfall shower, beautiful view, pretty yet minimal decor. It’s in a shopping mall with a cafe downstairs, grocery store, and icecream. Yummy breakfast buffet in the hotel.

Our favourite place during our Mexico trip! We arrived at the hotel and were told that our reservation through Booking.com had not made it onto their system despite us having a confirmation email and the booking showing in the app. Jose was a star, ensuring we had a room. It was perfect. A great size, clean, sea view. I had the best nights sleep and a hot powerful shower. The breakfast buffet was also delightful. It had every option you could possibly wish for with a chefs station where you could request, eggs, omelettes etc. The team really could not do enough to help us. I’d 100% recommend and wish we were staying here for the remainder of our trip.

United States of AmericaNo towels in my room and when I asked for them, still didn't get them. The staff was not friendly and wasn't helpful. There's a coffee kiosk, that is unmanned and it was torture and time consuming to get a latte. They had to call a guy who knew a guy to get one made. I couldn't get out of there fast enough and even that was a fiasco, I was locked in the parking lot.

CanadaVery hard to find. Even our GPS was having a problem. No identification except high on the tower. Address is the hotel but GPS is the plaza. No English spoken. Also noisy families.
