Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I will not be back for several reasons. Despite confirming the date and time of my arrival with the property, no communication was made regarding the shuttle's availability and alternate transportation had to be arranged late at night. It should be made clear the shuttle will not be available for certain dates. This is not somewhere you want to enlist a taxi service, as they will try to rip you off if you're a foreigner. Fortunately, I have family in town that could help me. Regarding the amenities, there was no fridge in the room. The rooms were entirely too small for the price. The shower was poorly designed and consequently flooded the bathroom. The TV left much to be desired. Breakfast was a bit of a scam, as the continental meal ends at 9:00 AM and is not very good quality. $20 USD for the hot breakfast they offered was definitely a rip-off if the complementary breakfast was an indicator of the quality. Ultimately, I would say the price did not match my expectations. I would personally recommend you stay elsewhere.
First and foremost, I'd like to start off with saying the staff was incredibly personable, kind, and helpful. The auditors were all very friendly. The cleaning staff was also very nice and offered daily turndown and laundry service. The centralized location and convenience were a huge plus. I felt very safe here. Within the same plaza, you'll find several businesses such as an Oxxo, a confectionary shop, an ice cream parlor, a churro stand (my favorite!), a bank, and a fine dining establishment to name a few.

Breakfast was expensive and not so much offered. The restroom door was see-through and not a great idea when taking family.
Staff was courteous and the room was so clean.

Charging me a cup coffe a companion requested but we did not stay there and he did not drink it. I left for a meeting and upon my return while I was checking out- the person from the cafeteria was asking me to pay for that cup of coffe?? Really?? In the other hand they should pay attention to things like they only have 1 single towel in the bathroom -

The room smelled bad (of sewage) from time to time for a few minutes- there were generally issues with the plumbing in Tampico when we went so it may be out of their control. The pool was small. Not really a bad thing but they gave us new towels every day despite us leaving them away from where they said for changing. The hotel was not very characterful, but I was very pleasant to be in.
We booked last minute as a result of being too hot to stay where we'd planned and needing somewhere with aircon. We got a good price and we're delighted with the room. It had lots of space, the cleaning service was good and the toiletries were great. They gave them to us every day. The place was easy to navigate and the pool was pleasant. The bed was comfy and they even had a free service to take us to the airport at 0 notice. The breakfast was superb - a huge set of fresh options and a mix of European and Mexican style food. It was what settled our tummies each day.

The staff were very friendly and the meal I had was delicious. There was a shuttle to the bus station which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again if I’m in Tampico.

security staff is unfriendly, I was in the pool area I they told me that I couldn’t be there because it was the rule. there wasn’t any maintenance at the pool at all. the breakfast included is not breakfast is just fruit and cereals……

The shower head in the bathroom was the worst experience, because it didn't had the sufficient pressure. Also, in short times it lows more the pressure, and it is impossible to bathe, without being close to the wall.
Love the coffee, but breakfast hours are too early and short.
