Damini was super nice, he prepared us an amazing srilankan breakfast. He also arranged us a tour to Lipton tea plantations at sunrise with Omar, who I highly recommend. The hotel has beautiful views fro the top of Haputale valley and everything was super clean and comfortable

The restaurant is above the rooms so some noise from chairs being moved. This could be alleviated by putting some pads on the chair legs.

Very friendly and welcoming small hotel. Rooms are simple, clean and spacious, including the bathroom. There is a large covered balcony with superb views. We stayed 3 nights and ate in the hotel as the food is delicious and freshly made. Breakfast offers a choice of western or local food and we preferred the latter, it was so tasty. The hotel is situated downhill from the town centre, so walking there is easy from the bus or train station, but you'll need a tuk-tuk for the return if you have luggage. Also it is very quiet. What sets the hotel apart is the friendliness and service from the staff, particularly Chathura who was so attentive and helpful during our stay. Highly recommended, we really enjoyed our stay.

- beautiful view from the balcony - very nice staff (we didn‘t feel very well when we were there. They got us some local tea and a cream which really helped against the cold. And we didn‘t even had to ask for it)

Everything is very new and super clean ✨ the view is stunning !! Whether you are a solo traveler or with a companion, it'd be the best choice. I really liked doing yoga in the terrace in the early morning.

Building looked nice at first but everything was built badly. There were water marks on the wall and the drain in the bathroom stank to high heavens.

No fridge in the room

The view from the balcony would be enough to bring me back to this hotel, but add in the spacious bedroom and bathroom and you have an idyllic mix. Great that they offered a large menu for evening meal, which was delicious and both Sri Lanka and English breakfast. Bonus was was seeing fireflies

I wasn't there long enough!

The location is sublime perched on a hillside looking on one side at a tea plantation and a monastery and to distant misty hills directly in front. The hotel is modern and stylish with its patterned brick and polished concrete. The restaurant is spacious and occupies the whole of the top floor with a balcony outside for the view. The food was good and the service was prompt and friendly. The host was particularly warm, welcoming and helpful even volunteering to carry my bags up to the car. The highlight was seeing fireflies set against the stars. Completely beautiful.

Beautiful views from room balcony, restaurant terrace, very airy and tastefully decorated hotel. Staff very friendly and smiling. Promptly arranged a tuk tuk at Lipton Seat, a charming place not far from here. I would stay here again next time!

We walked up to Sherwook Rock from the accomidation and would highly recommend great views from the top and no other tourists. We also walked along the railway to Kelliebedde tea lounge would highly recommend it was a lovely walk (not very long and through a tea planatatiin) and great cafe to sit in for cake and tea.

There was some building work going on in front of the hotel which started quite early in the morning

Wow, the view from the hotel was amazing! We had a perfect stay, I loved the atmosphere in the hotel, we had a delicious breakfast and dinner there. The rooms were very spacious with a big balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They help with organizing the tuk-tuk. The hotel is located very close to the train station so it was easy to get there.

Very peaceful location with amazing views, but easy walking distance to Haputale station, shops, bank, tuks tuks etc. Rooms large, with huge private balconies over looking mountains. Garminy, the manager, and Kasun, the owner, are both incredibly helpful and kind. The food is good. It's really good value for money.

Very modern and relaxed place with an incredible view. Chathoura, the friendly young caretaker, was thoughtful and very helpful organising excursions or taxis. Great food.

View might become compromised at the rooms in lower levels by new building work in front.

Great views and private balcony with comfortable seating on it. Helpful staff (both the lady who greeted us and Damini who was there over night and the next morning. Very helpful carrying bags etc. pot if tea made for us.
