Since it's a mixed dorm, the washrooms in the room are the common washrooms, which weren't a deal breaker, just something to note. Really needs to add lockers for travelers to keep their valuables

The caretaker Palitha is very kind and sincere and despite his language barrier tries to accommodate all the guests, which I think is very sweet. The atmosphere and the decor is funky maximalism. If you're into that kind of thing, this place will be up your corner. There was always black tea ready when asked. Palitha is a joy to interact with and is the heart of the place. The location is also great for city sprawling or hiking, whatever your vibe is. The beds were comfortable enough. They usually ask guests to write something on the wall, and I did my own little Graffiti! It was a nice experience

Only some rooms have doors, most of the other ones do not and some of the beds are even in a corridor which makes it feel very exposed. There also seems to be something not quite right with the electrical wiring as when you turn the light off in the bathroom, the power goes off in the socket in the room so if you want to charge anything you need to keep the bathroom light on. There are also no lockers. The hostel has potential but it needs a bit more work done to make it a more comfortable stay

There are no doors in the dorms. My bed was fine behind a wall, but there are beds like in a corridor that is between the other dorm, staff kitchen and the entrance is so I would guess that is not so comfortable. Everything was ok considering the price though. I was not afraid of my stuff getting stolen even with no lockers.

Staff was very nice and friendly, even sometimes a bit confusing because I was asked many many times if I already paid or not.

Some of my stuff was stolen as ouside people entered the hostel during the day. I escalated and the owner came and fired his staff. He said that the will improve security measures, hopefully they will have some kind of lockers and doors. I did not pay for my stay, as I lost quite some value.

super nice little hostel just a bit away from the main street, what is perfect! great place to hang out with nice people and nice music, breakfast is ok as well. met a lot of nice people there and I enjoyed the stay.

The internet disconnected for half a day. Better to have your own SIM card Data. There was no liquid soap in the bathroom which is a must for shared bathrooms.

Best option for backpackers in Ella. Best location to access bars and cafes. 5 min walk away from 9 arches bridge. Very nice and helpful host who cooked delicious breakfast as well. He also makes you happy with free unlimited coffee. There's also a nice shared kitchen where you can cook your own meals. You will love the beautiful cute balcony where you can spend time hanging out with other backpackers, playing boardgames and drinking your coffee.

The only thing was: It didn't have any parking.It was emphasized that parking the car in the road side is safe and everyone Does that.It was safe but we were worried nevertheless as it was rented and anything could have happened.

We loved the ambience,as it was a hostel, there were other travelers and we had a great time,chatting with them,playing games with them.It is close to Little Adam's peak and Nine arch bridge too. Reshan was super friendly and breakfast was great too.

Because of Christmas Eve there was a party going until 2am at the hostel so it was quite noisy. The other night music stopped at 11pm

Very much you get what you pay for. It was basic accommodation but for 5£ a night it is everything you need. The included breakfast is rlly nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hostel boasts a great location and a warm atmosphere. The host and staff go the extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable and readily assist with requests, including recommendations for food, activities, buses, and trains. I stayed for three nights and highly recommend it.

The hostel was in an excellent location, a couple of minutes walking from the bus stand. The breakfast was good with egg, sausage and toasts. Close hike to the nine archs bridge and little Adam's peak.

The bathroom was out of functioning the first day, but the staff were aware of situation and fixed it quickly.

The man who worked there ws just the nicest! Really helpful and making sure everything was allright. Also during a powercut in the whole street. The hostel has a great vibe because of the cute walls and paintings. The garden is beautiful to sit in and have breakfast. The rooms have enough space to put your bags. Also the location is great, just outside of the busy street so after a night out you can get some rest. Highly reccommend!
