To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe hotel is in a nice location with sea views from some rooms. The breakfast was excellent, with both Korean and continental options. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's a little art gallery on site, plus a useful convenience store. There are some restaurants within walking distance for lunch / evening meals, and the hotel restaurant does fried chicken / shrimp, which was very tasty! Would highly recommend for a stay in the Hanlim area.

United KingdomWhole hotel in need of full modernisation and refurbishment, torn wall paper, no a/c in bedroom only lounge, dingy bathroom, no restaurant for dinner. Not what to be expected for a' Resort hotel' as no resort facility. Kitchenette needs better equipment. No tea/coffee orovided. Knowing this beforehand wouldn't have booked.
The location was perfect right on the sea, lovely quite area. Good size room the staff all did their best to help make us comfortable.

MalaysiaThe property was quite run down. It did not look anything like the pictures. The bathrooms are all wet coz there were no partitions between shower and sink so the floor was always cold as we were there end Nov. There were no floor mats either. Only shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided, no toothbrush and toothpaste. Only hand towels were provided. No bath towels. So please check with them before hand about towels. The kitchen did not have any kitchen towels. No coffee provided either. Only a kettle to boil water. The television was only local shows, no Netflix or Youtube.
The location by the sea and the sea view from our unit was lovely. We stayed in a Royal Suite with Ocean View. (3 rooms; 2 rooms with beds and 1 room with futon) The kitchen had cutleries and plates and mugs. Good water pressure in the bathrooms. There were restaurants walking distance from the property along the sea. There is a convenience store at the property and the reception was nicely decorated for Christmas. To stay here, you must have your own transport.
