Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Overall no complaints. Only the single room space is too small to open the suitcase, but not a major issue.
It’s clean and well maintenance. The hot bath area is also really good.

This new, clean, well-located hotel was a terrific value. It's only a couple minutes from the train station, so it's easy to find. It's a very short walk to the Bikan Historical district, but also surrounded by convenience stores, shopping, and many restaurants. The rooms were clean, well thought out, and very reasonably priced. Really a terrific find.

The room is very small it barely fits a single bed and a desk. You only get one pillow (and one decorative cushion, which is not really comfortable to sleep with). Considering how inexpensive it was, I am not complaining. You get what you pay for.
Only a few minutes walk from Kurashiki station, it is a clean modern business hotel. Efficient check-in/out process (automated). The bathroom is actually a decent size and has good shower water pressure.

The lobby staff didn’t tell us about given cleaning room sign before we leave the room. It was shocked without cleaning when we got back to the hotel.

The hotel was slow in replacing a mildewed shower curtain. We had to ask three times. And eventually had to insist that someone from the desk immediately take care of it.
Large mostly efficient business hotel. Spa available to customers.

Card keys for room and female spa access are very similar and confusing. Took a female spa access card key instead of room card key then I locked myself out from the room.
Very good value for money. It is new, decent size room, nice breakfast and close to historical area and the station. Difinetely recommend to my friends.

Had a hard time keeping the room cool enough -- I think there was some efficiency setting to prevent energy waste so every time I left the room for even a few minutes the AC would click off and it would get hot again. But I also had difficulty because the AC remote was in Japanese, so it might've been user error!
Great location just a few minutes walk from the train station. The room layout was very functional for the size and the interior design was very attractive. Fantastic breakfast buffet as well.

At restaurant, they have good table for wheelchair users, but they didn’t let us use. It was not so convenient to get food at buffet breakfast.

It rained while we were staying there… and all hotel umbrellas were gone… I wished they had enough for the guests.
Close to JR station, and also walking distance to historical area. Very clean and modern hotel, Spacious room, Buffet breakfast was excellent. Also onsen facility was a big plus- absolutely enjoyed our stay.

We took a taxi to the hotel and were dropped at a pedestrian area where there was no indication of the hotel entrance. The taxi driver assumed we would find our way but in fact we walked all the way around the block to go in an entrance, but when we left we discovered the rear exit was right where the taxi had left us.
Breakfast was delicious Japanese fare. We had a wheelchair, and there was a good location downstairs to accomodate the chair. We had the best sushi for dinner--highly recommended with an organic sake that was fantastic.
