If there was a way to put eleven stars I would do it. This guest house is more than a guest house, ideally located in the island, near all the good places to see. The hosts are so kind, so welcoming and give you enough freedom so you feel very comfortable at all time. They know the place well and can give you tips on where to go, what to see. Dormitory beds are very comfortable and bigger than most places. Everything is new, clean and very well maintained. There is a small kitchen with everything you need to prepare your food if you need it.

We loved everything about the place, especially the warm hospitality of the owner - Taka and Kana. They are so helpful, kind and have attention to details. Place is super clean, and bed was comfortable.

Only one toilet, (and a male urinal) but not an issue for our stay as it wasn't busy, but could be a drawback in busy times.

A fantastic couple of hosts who went the extra mile so friendly and informative booked a meal at a local restaurant for us allowed us to park and charge our ebikes under cover. Definitely stay here and support these two sweeties a great stay.

The stairs from the kitchen to the common area are steep. Make sure you are able to manage steep stairs if staying here.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The hostel set up is great. A chance to meet interesting people, but can be left alone if that is what you wish. Very clean. They did laundry for us, which was a big help; we arrived soaking wet because of the rainy day.

Beautiful hostel with very friendly and helpful hosts! We were tired from our bike trip and they gave us restaurant recommendations and directions to the local onsen. Extremely clean and new amenities, and they even let us borrow some "spa kits" free of charge to take to the onsen! They also have a cafe attached but I don't think it's open all the time — they were doing some construction to prepare for Golden Week. Easily one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

They recommend picking up some food at family Mart on the route since there's no food nearby. It's off the "main cycling route" on that island so it's less convenient than the other major option. The place is a bit dark and maze-like.

The couple who owns it is super nice. Extremely attentive and accommodating. They gave us some good advice for our bike route and also gave us some ramen when we realized we didn't have any food around. Really great price. Laid out in a functional way. They live in the house next door so if you need anything, it's easy to contact them. After meeting them, I definitely want their Guest House and Cafe dream to succeed!

The owners are so kind and welcoming! They showed me good restaurants and sight seeing places in the area. The restaurants were insanely delicious (Garaku, country time and marumado bakery).

The place is quite new and very comfy. It has all the necessary equipments. The hosts were very lovely, friendly and helpful. I had a great stay. The bed was very nice (especially the pillow). It was conveniently close to the road, a supermarket and some restaurants.

The owners were incredibly friendly and professional! The house they renovated is amazing. Traditional Japanese style with modern touches. Perfect place to rest after a day of cycling! Beds were big and comfortable. They even gave me a citrus for the road - kana-san & taka-san thanks for the はるか! 美味しかったです。

We had a lovely stay at this place. The couple who run the place were incredibly welcoming. The friendly host explained everything we needed to know about the house. I had a couple questions and the host was quick to respond. The location is convenient for people who do not have a car. Me and my daughter were on this island on a cycling trip. After returning our bikes at Kamiura rental cycle terminal we took the bus. The house is a 3km ride away (two bus stops). The bus stop (Tatara no Sato 多々羅の里) is right in front of the guest house which was convenient. There aren’t many buses though so be sure to check the timetable if you want to ride the bus. The house itself is comfortable, incredibly clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. Overall we had a great stay! Thank you for everything.

Taka and Kana were great hosts! They both received me with kindness and showed me everything there was to know about the hostel. They even asked where I was going in the morning and gave me a ride to the port to take the Sakari ferry.

Really a nice place to stay ! Great place, great hosts, great location ! Everything is made to allow you to enjoy your trip in there, so you can go without any hesitation ! And on the top of that beds are big and comfortable, really a must after a day of bicycle !

A great spot to stay halfway on the Shiminami Kaido, the hosts are absolutely lovely and so welcoming. The rooms are warm, clean and beautifully laid out. Would recommend to all.

The owners were so friendly and welcoming!! Beds were comfortable and I could use the kitchen. Also there was an offered laundry service. It is well located around halfway through the Shimanami-Kaido, one or two kilometers from the main route. I would come again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location particularly for cyclists on the Shimanami Kaido if you want to sleep over in the nation park half way!

My stay here was a 10/10. The owners are extremely kind and helpful. They helped me plan my trip and gave me a lot of tips. They both speak good english. Everything was new and well equipped. There’s a kitchen, an office, a common area with tv, etc. You can also rent bikes and do laundry, which is very convenient. I would 100% recommend this hostel and stay here again!
