We had a really great time in the Connemara Sands. I had booked a double room and we were upgraded to a lovely suite and the beach was just few minutes away from our back door. We swam in the sea and afterwards had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The girls who worked there were so friendly and the decor in the bar and restaurant is lovely. Overall we would highly recommend.

There was no microwave in the room,otherwise we had great time and the place is so beautiful.

Everything was lit as South Africans would say. The restuarant staff are so friendly and lovely.

A wonderful, stylish hotel on the seashore. Everything is decorated with very great taste. The apartment we rented was very spacious, with access from the salon directly to the shore. The beach is a minute's walk away. Breakfast is amazing! Highly recommend!

The double room suite was large and spacious although the full bed was quite firm, not that comfortable, and the pillows were really lacking comfort, otherwise great room.

Really enjoyed the food, all meals were great along with an incredible dinner own the outdoor patio. The location is superb and the staff really made the experience enjoyable.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Couldn't get booked into the restaurant the first night however Marian on reception kindly booked us a table and arranged a taxi for dinner in Clifden which was fabulous. Will definitely return in the future.

The young woman at the front desk (not one of the owners) was not friendly or welcoming. She seemed put out when we asked for help with buying a product and when we checked in about the heat in our house. Also, we asked about using the sauna and hot tub and were told it would cost each person to use them; this was not clear on the booking information. There were also notes in the house bathroom saying that extra towels, sheets, etc. cost money. This seemed weird to us because most hotels will provide you with a new towel if needed without charging you.

It was nice to have a separate house for our two night stay. The Voya products in the bathroom were nice. The weather wasn’t great so being outside on the beach and asphalt tennis court was short lived, but could be nice in better weather. The owner was very nice and personable, as were the wait staff at the restaurant. We ate there both nights and it was very good; breakfast was also good with a variety of fresh options.

We loved everything about this gorgeous little hotel. The food was fab the staff lovely. The owner came around to chat to everyone on Saturday evening. We loved the views and outdoor sauna. We will definitely be back.

The staff / The food / The ambience / The suite/ The music & The owners . This is a hidden gem and is a must visit soon . From the minute we walked in the door we were made more than welcome by all of the staff . Can’t wait to get back again .

Would love to see the heating updated. Would love to see the hotel get some government assistance for solar panels.

Local produce. Great tasty breakfast. Lots of options for different dietary requirements. The location is amazing, would be amazing in the summer, especially with the sauna, beach and seaweed baths.
