We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

IrelandUnfortunately our family room was situated beside two rooms opposite each other which had a number of young men in their 20s. This led to noise, door banging, shouting and high pitched shrieking until 2.30am. The kids slept but we didnt. I will be careful to ask about the situation of a family room in future . This slightly affected our overall very positive stay.
Very homely. Really good menu for kids and adults at the bar/restaurant. Kind staff. Very accommodating and friendly all around. The kids love the place. Very good breakfast with lots of variety.

IrelandVery difficult to get a seat in the bar for food. We could only get a seat between 5 & 6 pm. Considering that's only for the bar I don't think that's great. Also I asked the receptionist about the need to book when we were checking in, she didn't mention dinner herself. A couple in front of us when we went down for dinner were told there was no seat at all the whole night anywhere. If you are staying, especially during the winter, in a hotel that isn't in the middle of a town, you would expect to be accommodated somewhere.

IrelandAlarm went off when we were asleep and we didnt use pool etc so I can't rate it.
The manager gave my daughter colouring books for Christmas eve and he was also very chatty in the dining hall for breakfast. He was lovely and friendly and always smiling. It would be great if all the staff were as thoughtful as him. Its the little things that make a difference. We had a good choice for breakfast maybe some fresh fruit options might be nice and room was a decent size for a family room. The decorations and Christmas tree were beautiful too.

IrelandWe were informed that we were staying in 2B (there are two houses available) having spent ten minutes attempting to open the lock box one of our group tried 2A which opened. I slept in the single bed on the right as you look into the room, there is a wooden spar running across the bed base that can be felt through the mattress. This made sleeping very uncomfortable.
Fantastic location for central Exeter. Well laid out with everything we needed for our stay.
