The second evening I ordered room service, the fish & chips, I wouldn't recommend that. The fish was fresh but the batter was soggy, almost like a pancake batter. Apart from that my stay was very good.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. The room & bed was lovely & the shower, very good pressure & Elemis bath products. We had food on the first evening, a very nice chicken jalfrezi & the wine was very good.

Great location. Modern but very cosy. We stayed in one of the apartment suites - it was huge! Much more than we could have ever have asked for. Huge terrace outside too with a picnic table where we sat and enjoyed the sunshine.

The pool area could do with a revamp looks dirty

The leisure facilities are tired and could do with freshening up. Pool fine but doesn’t look like it is adequately cleaned. Also last morning we purposely got up to use pool to find it wasn’t available due to ongoing chlorination. So Colm’s around this could of been better

Great to have pool etc. bar food really good and loads of space. Location made getting around local area very easy. Suites are really comfortable for a family of 4

We was put in a suit so not actually part of the hotel which was fine but it just smelled a bit, I think people was maybe smoking at the door entrance so it made it smell and I don’t think it got cleaned or freshened up that often. Wouldn’t put me off staying again though :)

See above regarding breakfast 🥲

Breakfast was quite cold, had to ask one of the staff to reheat in the microwave, also rashers were quite overdone. Toast, you could only do on one side? Fried eggs not very appealing, looked to be very underdone. the taste of the potatoes were horrible. Overall for the price that we paid it certainly wasn’t worth it, and would certainly not recommend the breakfast at all. Having stayed there a number of times before, this stay was very disappointing 🥲

It is not walking distance to the attractions you will definitely need to drive or get taxis. The town centre is about 10 minutes' drive. However, I would not let that put you off as the hotel and suites are excellent.

The suites/apartments were fab. Everything you need as a family and more. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the facilities in general are great

The staff were exceptional. We were there during Christmas and though the city was closed there were activities happening during the day which kept us engaged. The room was well equipped and the team extended full courtesy even during holiday times.

Stayed in one of the suites,was perfect. Kitchen area was well equipped,coffee machine,kettle fridge and microwave.Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great,loads to choose from,food fresh and well cooked, delicious. The staff at Castletroy Park are just lovely. Friendly,thoughtful and kind.

It’s so trivial but we cook a lot while staying and the lack of decent bin in the apartment isn’t great so always end up having bags of rubbish stacked up and I get they don’t service them daily but even just collecting rubbish would be handy!

Perfect stay as always! Our 5/6 time using the suites! Gorgeous!

The staff was not entirely friendly. At one point I was told to move from a dining table before I received my bill.

The breakfast was buffet style which is usually okay, but the options were not varied in my opinion. I also found information on the restaurants in the hotel hard to find. There's plenty of places to eat around the hotel so we didn't get dinner there as we didn't know what the menus were like.

It’s a very cosy, clean hotel suites. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We were in group of 4 but the beds are only for 3. The staff acted quickly & added another bed for us. Tq so much.

The bar food was good however I had the beef for dinner one night and there was too much fat on it. It staid slowed cooked on the menu and it really didn't look or taste like that.

The breakfast was really lovely. The suite we stayed in was ideal for our family. Everything was close to us and perfect for what we needed for our stay.
