Perfect.

Beautifully restored historic home with very comfortable amenities. Each room is bird themed. The guest book in each room gives the meaning of the bird and the history of the house and area.

This was one of the best places we stayed while hiking the Camino. We had the two bedrooms in the Salon, which is a shared space for all customers but we had it to ourselves. It's gorgeous large room with a kitchen and a huge window overlooking the countryside. So worth the price and would have booked for longer if we had known what a treat it is. I believe it was the first building built in the community.

A rural house converted into a beautiful homestay. Fantastic place. Owner had left that afternoon to collect an award from Booking.com. Driven 200km , one way. Well deserved in my opinion.

We loved everything about the property and our stay. Daina and Carlos thought of every detail and put so much love into the common areas, our room, and meeting guest needs. It belongs in a magazine or a movie set. We are walking the Camino and the location was perfect. A block from the Camino in a quaint town. The best place we have ever stayed in!! We loved the complimentary breakfast too. If they have a room available then book it!!! We would give them 11 stars if we could!! Thanks again!

Super host. I came in early in the morning before opening but the hosts were so kind to let me in the room already. As pelgrim I stayed there in room and living room. All very well facilitated. Super view on the mountain.

It was an oasis amongst the other Camino accommodation and such welcoming and friendly owners. It was so tastefully decorated with high-quality bedding and towels. It was really a memorable stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended

The property is impeccably maintained. You can tell so much care has been put into giving their guests the best stay possible. It’s in the quaintest town on the Camino. They even have bikes available so you can pedal around the charming town.

Absolutely terrific. Ultra clean, great shower pressure with all the hot water you could want. Beautiful room, public salon with a gorgeous view, and amazing courtyard with perfectly maintained live plants. Chocolate left in the room for us upon arrival. Great owners. Amazing value. Just perfect. Nice breakfast included in our price. The has to be best place on the Camino. If you need a rest day, this is the place to do it.

It isn’t anything about this place, but there isn’t really places to eat other than bars. I would pack in picnic foods and buy a bottle of wine from the host for evening.

Elegant, beautiful and luxurious. This was my “reward” for walking this far on the Camino. The bed and pillows with the sheets gave me a perfect sleep. There is a beautiful common area with beer and wine for purchase and kettle with teas to choose from. Lovely and gracious hosts.

I have no dislikes with regard to the property

Beautifully appointed. The concept of the establishment is superb. The old Estate house has been sympathetically restored using materials that reflect the age and importance of the original. Carlos is a welcoming and gracious host. It has been a delight to stay at this property. When I’m back in Spain I will revisit Santa Carolina just for the opportunity to stay here again.
