The best accomodation on my Camino🙂

Hostel Alea was very comfortable and the locations was fantastic. Location was central to whatever your needs were. This particular hostel did not serve breakfast. There was a kitchen and grocery close by. Safety was not an issue.

One thing that needs improvement is the positioning of the ladder to access the upper bunks. The way it is positioned makes it impossible to get a grip on the upper rung as it’s flush with the bed frame. It needs to be positioned a few centimeters away from the frame. This is dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. Another note to travelers is if you snore please do not book a room in a hostel where you’ll punish all the others with your noise - fix your snoring or book a private room, please.

The property is located right next to the spectacular León Cathedral with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Pedro, the manager is very kind and helpful. The premises feature a washer and dryer, fridge, stove, kettle and comfortable sofa/sitting area to read or watch TV. Everything is clean and new - one of the nicest and best equipped hostels I’ve ever stayed at!

Clean, comfortable, great value. It’s located close to the cathedral and along the Camino. It was nice to have a curtain to close and feel more private. There’s a charging station at each bed, a lamp, also a drawer for each bed that is big enough to store belongings and it has a lock to keep things secure. Washer and dryer on location that are easy to use.

I came here to relieve all the fatigue I had accumulated in Camino. Your hostel provided comfort, good environment, and facilities. I am very satisfied and will stay here again the next time I visit Leon.

The location is supreme next to the Cathedral. The attention to detail make this one of my best stays on the Camino. Staff more that willing to help with anything. Don’t wait book here!

I like everything, brand new place everything's super clean, Pedro the person in charge was so great, very helpful and friendly, he made sure I got all I need. Place is just at the side of the Cathedral, very easy to walked around the centre. Thank you so so much, 5 stars for this place.

The top bunk has no bars to hold onto past the bottom rung of the ladder, making it dangerous to get in & out of.

Almost everything aboit this place is awesome - clean, accomodates only10 people, washer/dryer, good wifi, beds comfy, drawers to hold your stuff, clean bathrooms, comfy firniture in sitting room. Location is literally next to the cathedral!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in on the whole Camino- everything is updated and new, the overhead shower is totally brilliant, both hosts I met were extremely kind and generous. They recommended restaurants I went to and adored. Excellent value for the cost. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much, both hosts! It was a memorable stay.

I really like this place and would book again.

Very close to cathedral and the historic zone. Hostel is a great place to stay when doing the camino Frances. The curtains provide privacy that is hard to find in hostels. The place was very clean. Since there are only 10 beds it does feel like a nice apartment in the core of the city. The kitchen is very well stocked for doing your own food prep.
