We arrived after 2pm check in time and found hotel door locked however someone came after 5 minutes ringing the doorbell The hotel is high up, hence the great view at sunset, not so great pushing your loaded cycle up a 22% steep hill. That is obviously not the fault of the hotel!🤣 Easy ride down to city centre in the morning! Would have been nice to use hotel bar but it is closed Mondays and Tuesdays

The bathroom was very small.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The view over the city was exceptional. Our host was very welcoming and helpful . We were able to store our bikes safely in the garage overnight.

Tricky to find, and a bit further out from Koblenz than I had realized.

Fantastic views of Koblenz. Free parking in hotel grounds. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Large comfortable room.

Parking lot closes at 10 pm, with no other parking facility nearby. And the restaurant would not serve us, because we came in after 8:30 pm. Breakfast was ok - nothing fancy.

Location is great - beautiful views of Koblenz. Room was very nice size, with a large bed, 2 chairs and a sofa. Bathroom was great.

No warning that the parking lot would not be accessible after a certain time. In reading other reviews now - specifically about the parking which I didn't see prior to booking - it says they were told the lot has no entry after 10p. However, when we arrived at 9:42pm on the 29th, it was already closed. Thankfully, we were able to find parking on the street nearby, but it was quite surprising. (We also wondered what would happen if you unexpectedly had to leave in the middle of the night?!) Sounds like it's not something the hotel can really control, but at minimum, we should have been told and there should be a "reminder" / note in the room information. I read through that and didn't see any mention of it there either.

The view was on par with anything you could see from the Fortress! Rooms were clean, modern. Some toiletries were eco-friendly. Didn't get to try the restaurant or breakfast, but it sounds like the food is quite nice.

Only thing we could complain about were the local youths sitting on the wall outside yakking away till midnight and banging their tins of cheap beer about.

Very nice little place, easy to find. Good size parking area. Superb view of the city from the edge of the carpark. Challenging path down the hill if you wish to walk into Koblenz as we did, even more fun walking back up. Breakfast choice was good as was the coffee. Good shower and a comfortable bed. Would recommend this one for a short stay in Koblenz.

No ability to have a cool drink after a long journey until bar opened at 5pm and nothing nearby could do with an honesty fridge like in other places we visited on our trip around Germany. Locals use spot to have social meetings until early morning.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was just a stopover on the way home, but we would happily have used it as a base for exploring the area. The views from the terrace of the River Rhine and Koblenz are stunning and we enjoyed an excellent meal sitting out there in the evening. The food is predominantly local German cuisine and was really tasty, including a wonderful vegetarian spinach Schnitzel. Breakfast was lovely, with delicious fresh bread, a wide selection of cheese, meats and cereal and scrambled egg cooked to order. The coffee was great too. It's quite a steep walk down into Koblenz (and a steep uphill back!). If you're brave, use the Teufelstreppe (Devil's staircase), which is the most direct route and starts below the terrace. We would certainly stay here again if we were in the area - highly recommended.

The attitude of the staff. First thing said to me was "Please move your car". Don't know why as it was parked perfectly well in the car park. The restaurant was closed but we asked if we could sit on the terrace as there was no other external seating area. We were refused.

Property location was superb because of the views of Koblenz and surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed on a Monday night when the restaurant was closed and so had to eat out, as said before the hotel is a steep climb from the town level.

A nice small Hotel where we stayed as a B&B. Something of a trek from Koblenz as it is a good height above the town, the people who run it are nice and helpful, the place clean and comfortable.. The breakfast we had was good.

There were three of us, it was nice that there was a bed for everyone. Only all beds were very hard and not nice to lie on. Not nice to sleep on. But if you like very hard beds, this is of course no problem ;-)

Breakfast was good with plenty of variety and top quality eggs ! The location of the hotel is also excellent with spectacular views over the Rhine with the complete city of Koblenz spread out below - all to be seen from most rooms and the restaurant/breakfast room.The drive into the Old Town only took 12mins at 8-30 in the morning.

We were aware that the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays but not that it was closed on Mondays as well. Since we were only there on a Monday and a Tuesday, this was irritating and meant that we had to drive out for dinner each evening.

The location was unexpected. On the map it is close to the Rhine but it is actually 400 feet up. So a good view over the city but not easy to walk in.

We chose this hotel for the view and it is spectacular with a bird’s eye view of Koblenz. Staff are lovely and friendly. It is a cosy destination after a busy day with dinner and healthy breakfast with freshly scrambled eggs. We stayed in a ground floor unit enjoying a fabulous view from our window. So good not to climb stairs with our bags directly from our car in the hotel’s free parking lot.

The distance from the city required a taxi to and from the hotel. Not a big deal and the view was probably worth it. We were placed on the bottom floor in a room with a view of the parking area. probably because we booked through Booking.com at a low rate.

the room was basic and clean and comfortable. The patio was lovely with a beautiful view overlooking the Rhein and the city. An excellent breakfast too.
