To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

My second stay here and the first time staff at reception were appalling. I chose to stay again because it's a really good location only a few steps from train station and quiet location. This time, staff was much nicer and even had a smile on their faces. Got a surprise egg as welcome gift, which made me quite happy;)

GreeceThe breakfast could be a little richer in the selection of hot products. But everything was so clean and always properly stocked so that you don't miss anything whenever you go. Our booking included free transfer from the airport to the hotel through a partner company (talixo). Not only did it never happen, but we stayed at the airport for over an hour after landing, looking for the driver, calling the company at its headquarters and in the end they told us that the driver couldn't find us even though we had a specific meeting point with map in our instructions. This spoiled the beginning of our trip a bit. We finally decided and took a taxi at our own expense to go to the hotel.
A well built hotel close to the airport. Warm and with good facilities. Close to a train station to go to the city center although we were inconvenienced because we fell on rail strike days.
