Like the beach and the netting to sit on, private bungalow with its own dock is the only reason I didn’t give the property a 3.

The staff were horrible. There were about 15 people working and they stood at the bar and chatted. Could never find anyone when we needed something. The only person who constantly helped us because he saw us looking for people was Antonio! He was the best! Fire everyone and give poor Antonio a raise. He did everyone else’s work.

Nice common areas. Free coffee, tea and water service, and free yoga.

Musty smell in the room, no blackout curtains, hard bed. Tours booked through the hostel weren’t very good and we didn’t receive any recommendations so sometimes we weren’t well prepared.

Our room was next to the Kitchen which you could hear all the racket late at night and early in the morning. Also bathrooms leaked and no hot water and no mini fridge. Staff was ok but I felt like you have to force a good morning out of them.

One staff member tried to blame us for the toilet getting clogged after a couple of flushes, saying it was strange and it had never happened before and we must have thrown something in (even though i found a review of somebody who had had the same problem a few months before) . We got a new room the next morning but i didn’t appreciate their first response. No cable TV, one bad pillow per person.
