We have a memorable stay due to the hotel room's amenities - bathtub and automatic toilet. We like the proximity to 南宋御街 (Southern Song Imperial Pedestrian Street). Walking distance ~7-10 minutes to a few metro stations. The hotel room's amenities. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. We enjoy our authentic Hangzhou cuisine dinner at 新周记 restaurant, about 10mins walk from the hotel.

No breakfast provided. The reception staff mentioned no breakfast because a lot of guests don’t eat breakfast at their hotel. Then there is a lot of food wastage. Recommend that the hotel provides simple breakfast like hot noodles soup or steamed buns as options, that is only prepare upon request. Sometimes guests need to leave early for their tours so inconvenient for guests to go out nearly to buy breakfast from next street which is about 10 mins away.

Love the retro furniture but with high tech sensor Japanese style toilet in the room. Location is near shopping and food streets, within walking distance.

The paint in the shower already came off at some spots. Probably the wrong paint was used. There were so many buttons for different lights, it was not always clear which button had which effect.

Perfect location close to the West Lake (20 minutes walk, or a few minutes by taxi), to a shopping street with traditional flair and a street with lots of restaurants (both just 3 to 5 minutes walk). Din'an road subway station is also just a 10 minutes walk away.

The hotel was located close to West Lake and other tourist attractions. So easy to get to places from the hotel by foot or by metro/bus. The staff were welcoming and helped with any queries we had. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel had a unique character. Would definitely stay again.

Location is close to shopping areas with 5-10 minutes walking. There is a supermarket nearby and hotel is close to the police station. There is a bus-stop right in front of the hotel as well. Given the DIDI is not that expensive, did not use the bus at all.

Not a negative - just a suggestion. Both the kettle and toilet in the room were quite high tech - it would be useful for those of us who have limited Chinese to have a translation of all the instructions.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the West Lake Scenic Area, so an easy walk to the lake. It's also a short walk from a metro station and is therefore easy to get to. Given the location and size of the room, I think this hotel offers great value for money. I liked the interesting décor in my room - it's nice to stay in a hotel room that doesn't look like every other hotel room. I had everything I needed, and the room was very comfortable. The staff were also friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The room is spacious, has all the facilities needed, and the bed is very comfortable. There are smart toilet and curtains, and free bottled drinking water is provided. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and considerate. It was close to midnight when we arrived at the hotel. We went out to buy cup noodles and returned to the hotel. The staff saw this and thoughtfully gave us a few more bottles of drinking water, so that we could cook cup noodles with rest assured, and have no worries about not having enough water to drink.
