The hostel is in a nice neighborhood, staff speaks English and is super helpful and friendly. All attractions are in reach. They offer free hotpot and dumplings parties and the bar and its barkeeper is amazing! The rooms are quiet and have ac. There’s even a small gym.

The staff are extremely nice and helpful. Reception is available 24/7 for check in. The place is run by a team of young guys who are going the extra mile to make foreigners feel at home. Some of them speak very good english and are very knowledgeable about their city and region. The manager Damon and his all rounder helper Michael are great. They spend a lot of time with their guests making the Chengdu experience great. They organize tours and also some themed nights like the hot pot night and dumplings night. I don't usually go to hostels but I must say this is a great place. Apart from dorms there are plenty of single and double rooms with aircon, private toilet and hot shower. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. Great value for money. There is a bar with very good beers and cocktails that runs till late. A little gym and laundry. Close by plenty of nice local places to eat and minimarts. The temple is only a few minutes walk from the hostel and very Chengdu Attraction about 20 minutes by Didi or Taxi. There is also a metro station not too far away. Overall a great experience. Will definitely recommend and come back! Great job guys. Keep it up.

Bathroom and room are separated with very thin glass, almost transparent, a little bit strange but wasn't such a big problem. The rooms maybe need a renovation, a little bit old, but still the room for it's price is super comfortable

Hostel is super nice. We lived in standard room with own bathroom, bed sheets were clean, everything overall was clean. The stuff was amazing, would always help us with any questions, bought SIM card, it was very helpful at the moment. The patio is super nice and comfy to rest. There is really nice bar near the lobby. Overall, the stay was great

The room was rather dark at night, an extra light above the desk would have been handy. The bar was rather expensive.

The hostel was lovely. I had a double room with bathroom, and it was a decent size and incredibly good value. The whole place felt cosy. The staff were great and there was a nice smoking area in front. The coffee was really nice and free between 9 to 10, or 5 yuan if you wanted a cappuccino or caffè latte. I didn't know they did food all day, but it looked very nice.

There is no Sonderia hotel at Google maps. You have to settle the Google Maps location))) it is important for foreigners to see you on google maps and be able to find you there. Please, try to do so

I am so greatful to Sonderia hotel, i felt really home 🏡 1. First, i booked a hostel, but nice lady at the reception - Niwle - helped me to upgrade it to the nice better single room. Room was nice with AC, tea pot (tea or water are not provided), clean, silent. Instead of key 🔐 there is an electrical key 🗝️!! I liked it 2. I liked it very much, because it is the only hotel in China, where they speak in English 😃! Oh, it is so important! One week i have been travelling and noone speaks english! And here this lady Niwle and also another person Damon, both know English! Feels so good! 3. Damon helped me to book ticket to Leshan Budda, and Niwle helped me to organize my Panda trip, she also helped me to call a taxi. There was another helpful guy in the morning, unfortunately i do not know his name. What i want to say: the hotel is amazing!!!! I am very grateful to all of you guys, thank you 😊 may Buddha bless all of you! + 1. Hotel has a good location near the Wenshu monastery, i walked there at 6am, was very nice. 2. Near the hotel you can find Walmart!!! Amazing! Big market where you can buy whatever you need, thanks God! 💞 3. AC worked very cool 4. Internet is absolutely perfect, which is very very important 5. Downstairs the hotel they have amazing atmospheric bar, so cool, made of wood, very pleasant 6. Near the hotel there is a lady selling street noodles only for 12 cny, and it is very tasty 7. Clean linen, comfortable room, well working shower

The light in my corner of the bedroom could have been working.

I love that despite it being Golden week here in China, I was able to make a last minute booking. The place is wonderful. The bar downstairs has great ambience and affordable drinks. The staff is very helpful and since even speak English.

There is a strange smell that comes from the toilet after every flush.

Property is close to the metro station and there are many eateries nearby that serve delicious food.

Price for value is really great at this place. Chengdu and this hostel match, nice city, nice hostel.

Very chill place, good coffee, nice area for sitting and chatting outside. 3 important metro stations within 15 min walking range. They organised a trip to the panda research base, was really nice 😊

There is no lamp each the bedding...

The staff Lora and Green is very friendly and very helpful too chat by write because I'm deaf . They're very understanding. Good explaining about the map , the restaurant, visiting of chengdu. Someday I come back sure I take this hostel no hesitate!

The staff was more than helpful! The receptionist especially helped me with informations and upgrade. The hostel is very well located, about 20 minutes walking distance from the Wenshyu Monastery. Many good restaurants around.

LORA is very gentle and friendly, helping to solve problems! I really like the green plant tables and chairs outside the hostel gate. You can have a leisurely breakfast, enjoy the breeze at night, and watch movies, all of which are very comfortable!
