Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Its very quiet but still near the city.. the Tram station is 3 min away. You can park your car at the property aswell.

Nothing. A bit far from city center - about 20 minutes walking, but it is a tram stations very close to the property.
Comfortable and cozy hotel. Clean and spacious room. Helpful stuff. Good breakfast whit a lot of different choices. Quiet area and it has parking lot for costumers.

Daniel was extremely helpful on check-in orienting me to Bern and transport routes. The hotel is very near to trams to old town and walkable attractions like the Rosegarten on the way to old town. Rooms are clean and well-equipped, and a pleasing breakfast is served. Very good value.

Nothing.
The room was clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The hotel has been in the same family for 100 years and was last renovated 5 years ago to a high standard. The included breakfast was excellent. The tram stop (number 9) is nearby for easy access to the city centre, and it was free! Parking is free, although limited. There also is an EV charging point. There is a guest refrigerator on floor 2 as well as a coffee machine (CHF 2 per cup).

It is a nice hotel,situated in a quiet neighbourhood close to the old town of Bern.Room was nice and clean.We were welcomed by the owner who was very helpful and friendly.We will choose this hotel again .

The bathroom doesn’t have a exhaust fan so you might need to open the window to let the steam out. A bit far to the city center but if you drive then it’s not big deal.
The breakfast is delicious, the bed is cozy and there’s a kettle in the room. Only need 4 mins by foot to get to Coop/ Migros.

Cannot think of anything, apart from the fact we wish we had spent a second night!
Very friendly and helpful hosts who took time to ensure we knew how to use the public transport, very happy to store medication that required refrigeration in their fridge. Great location a very short & flat walk from the tram, and only a short walk from the hotel to the Rose Garden, Bear enclosure and the Old Town. Will be recommending this hotel to anyone we know heading to Bern.

Clean with good room, which had a nice view of the gardens at the back. Breakfast was good. USB charging points. Parking seemed limited but we were allowed to leave car on morning of departure till lunch time while we visited the old town. Card allowing us to travel on tram into old town was given us by the hotel, which was appreciated. Just a short walk to tram stop.

It's been my very 'personal' thing. I get warm easily and cool down slowly.... air con/cooling 😔 But I do understand, our location dictates those kind of things. Didn't spoil my experience
What a fabulous 'welcome'!!! We arrived earlier than expected and hoped that we could just leave our car & wait for check-in. Not a problem. They checked us in then and there. Room was great size, clean, tidy, and comfortable. Quick walk, for us, to everywhere. Great 👍

No A.C., just a fan, but this was basically ok with daytime temps of 75F. Kind of a no-frills place, but with generally high standards.
Clean, comfortable. Helpful, friendly staff. Quiet, dark room at night. Very close to at least 1 excellent restaurant.

Everything was spotlessly clean Our room was very spacious, with high ceilings and windows that we could open. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices and very well organised The hotel was in a quiet neighbourhood and only a 10 minute walk to the old town. There was a handy tram stop nearby so no need to take the hire car into Bern. The welcome was very good, lots of information and great customer service. There were several free parking spaces and once there, we didn’t use the car again until we left.

Nothing at all...... just perfect for us. We love old fashion hospitality and a friendly greeting. Only compliments here
My daughter and I stayed 2 nights. Clean room with everything we needed. Very comfortable bed in spacious room. Shower really nice and big. Tram 9 around the corner in 9 min in central Bern. Bus tickets included in the price with us. Parking free next to the hotel. Breakfast buffet was the best. Fresh buns and breads in every taste you want, good selection of cut meats and cheeses, fresh fruit even cheries Staff very helpfull and initiate advice.

Parking issues - limited parking of no more than 5 vehicles. Additional parking costed CHF 16 in neighborhood. Hotel lifts/elevators have limitations but manageable.
Room was large, modern, clean and had good space for 3 of us. Location was good and 8-10 minutes to Bern City center -walking & tram.

More powerful hair dryer that stays on without having to hold the "on" button. I talked to one of the staff at the front desk and he said they are already updating the hair dryers so that won't be a problem soon. Otherwise nothing!
Great location in a nice neighborhood across from a park with close access to the tram that made travel around town easy. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choices and accommodated my celiac disease with gluten free options. Amazingly sweet tomatoes!! Room was very quiet which was very important due to windows needing to stay open all night with the warm weather. Also had a fan which helped. Enjoyed sitting on the front patio. Staff was very friendly and helpful and recommended a great walk to start our explorations of Bern.
