Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Shower head was tricky due to power of water jet making it difficult to stay in a fixed position but a minor issue comparing all the positives. Bathroom facilities excellent, good light and generous mirrors as well as accessories. Breakfast was good too and reasonable price
Excellent location, good facilities and helpful staff. Free bottled water provided in fridge a bonus. Easy transit from airport by train virtually to the door in 6 minutes. Hotel is very close to rail tracks but double glazing helped and trains run fairly quietly so no problem sleeping. With the free travel card it made getting about the city easy and enjoyable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was very expensive at @£15.00 each but then it is expensive everywhere in Geneva.
Beautiful hotel metres away from the train station. We had a balcony overlooking the station, surprisingly it wasnt noisy at all in the evening. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Comfortable bed and shower. Everything was lovely.

No powerpoints near the bed for device charging. Our room had 2 beds for some reason so felt cramped.

There was some noise from the street and by passer, but it not big problem.
Best location, just few steps from main station. It lets us access all of shops, Starbucks and Coop. We were enjoy traveling to neighbours city e.g. Montreux, Vevey and Lausanne. We also cooked for our lunch and dinner in the room, so we can save a lots.

It's quite dated. Carpeting needs to be replaced or remove. Bathroom needs holders for shampoos etc. Hence the stool inside the bathroom.

The floor of the room was not clean, the carpet had the same dirt on it for three days straight though I got my room cleaned everyday. The AC/Heat box did not work.
The rooms are very small but comfortable, and have all the amenities required. The staff is wonderful, really polite, everyone from front desk to bar. Very conveniently located close to public transport and walkable to almost everywhere but not manic or chaotic.

Only slight issue was the shower door hinge would get stuck meaning you did not feel completely confident closing the shower door fully when showering.
Staff were very polite and very helpful. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect for getting around Geneva by bus or by train. A supermarket literally a two minute walk on the other side of the train station was ideal for anything you need for the room.

Rooms with kitchenette need some serious improvements and fixing of damaged or ruined items. Toilets should also be renewed. Does not look like a 4 stars accommodation

Location right at main train station. Comfortable rooms - not fancy but perfectly good for an overnight stop in Geneva. The room had a fridge, which was an unexpected bonus.

I had problems with WiFi, connection was constantly interrupted and I should start process from the beginning. Hotel doesn’t look like 4 stars. And price was expensive.
Very easy to find hotel. You can see it from train. Location is very convenient, specially if you will use train. FlixBus station in walk distance(7minutes) and centre of city also very close. Hotel sent me link for transport card, I could use it for train from and to airport, buses, trains, boats. Very comfortable bed. Kettle, small fridge in the room.
