The location is super convenient in the city center. The room was big and well equipped. The staff (basically the manager) was super friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home. The (wine) bar of the hotel has a great selection of wines (also by the glass).

Everything! we will be staying here in the future. Spacious, comfortable bed, great selection of TV stations, friendly, and clean! across the street from the antique market, short walk to the church near restaurants and shopping, parking in several locations including the train station (5 min walk, low prices) This is a MUST stay location. Book early or you won’t get a room.

Everything was new, clean, and sleek. The room is spacious. the blackout curtains and windows keep our light and sound. The towel rack was so nice and warming! the shower was HUGE! the location was perfect! The best thing about our stay was the owner and his wife! they were so friendly and welcoming!

There were a few small things that could improve, to make the stay even better. The insulation of the rooms; we were on the first floor and both the noise from the street and sounds from the other guests were a bit disturbing (earplugs worked well enough though). A manual in the room for the ventilation system in the bathroom, we didn't manage to turn it on :-) The rain shower was already full of limescale deposits and that could be looked after now and then. But again, these are small things and we had an excellent stay!

This is an excellent B&B! Brand new and the design is mid-century style in warm colors. High quality materials and finishing. There is a coffee machine in the room, as well as a bottle of mineral water. Excellent reception by Pascal and good advice on parking at the train station, which is a 5min walk from the B&B. Included in the price is a glass of wine and the ambiance in the small bar is really nice. We enjoyed the regular breakfast, which is brought to you on a beautiful étagère and includes pastries, yoghurt and fresh fruit. We especially liked the coffee and tea. The wifi speed was excellent. We can definitely recommend this B&B.

Flawless finish everywhere, lovely freestanding bath in a very spacious room. The breakfast was immaculately presented. The wine bar and restaurant was my favourite part, the owner has a great selection of wines that paired well with the charcuterie we ordered. Staff/owners were very accommodating.

I have stayed at Vinotel several times in the past 12 months and it has always been exceptional in all respects...room, decor, staff, service. I would not consider staing anywhere else when visiting Tongeren.

The owners (Husband & Wife) are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. This is an exceptional property, with EVERY attention to detail covered. The Wine Bar did NOT disappoint! If you ever need a clean, comfortable, classy, and an upscale place to stay in Tongeren, Belgium, do not hesitate when viewing the Vinotel! We will be back for more stays.
