Located in Frasco in the Verzasca Valley, Albergo Familienhotel Campagna offers panoramic mountain views and free WiFi access in the restaurant. Hotel is very nice and modern. Staff is very nice and caring, we got a lot of useful informations about hikes and trips in the surroundings of the hotel. Breakfast was rich and tasty. We spent very nice time there, we spent 4 days there and it wasnt enough.

Located in Lavertezzo, 16 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Osteria Vittoria provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I love the hotel’s location along the Verzasca River, the staff, the accommodations and the restaurant. Really, everything! A beautiful waterfall is located right next to the hotel…you can eat on the patio with the sound waterfall and the sight of the water. The river is directly across the street and the Ponte dei Salti bridge is in the immediate area…maybe 500 yards up the road. There are nice (and long) hiking trails, numerous rustic towns to visit, and the Verzasca Dam is just down the road. The hotel staff is very warm and inviting, and I was relieved to find they had an English speaker (actually, several) on staff.

Overlooking the surrounding mountains, MyVerzasca Resort Ai piee offers quiet rooms and a restaurant in the scenic Verzasca Valley. A river runs by the house which you can swim in. Everything! Location, check in process, room keys, complimentary refreshments in lobby, the OWNER, he was so helpful and quick to respond to messages. Comfortable bed, the stone in the shower, view from our room; restaurant next door, same building. Their staff was friendly and helpful. My Italian is entry level in speech, better in listening and reading, German is worse. The staff was patient and we made it work and had fun! Room rate comes with a bus pass for Ticino during the stay and was easy to use. The property and surrounding area was beautiful and easy to get to hikes, bike trails etc on foot within minutes. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay here!

Located in the Verzasca Valley 15 km from Locarno, the Al Lago overlooks Lake Vogorno. It features a traditional restaurant and offers free Wi-Fi. My room and bathroom was comfortable and had everything I need after day long excurcions, Location is really very good if you plane to explore Vale Verzasca. It is at the shore of Verzasca lake. It is beside the main (only) road of Versasca Valley but at night there is almost no traffic. at all. I am a very light sleeper and I always have earplugs with me but I did not use them. Day time it can be noisy but I went to Versasca Valley to hike not to sit in the hotel. I ate dinner in the hotel twice and liked both meals. Hotel al Lago is a great value for its price.

Warm welcoming by the host, much earlier checkin than expected, fantastic location. Fully equipped apartment, bus stop just around the corner. A relaxing dip in jacuzzi. We were simply astonished and recommend it to anybody without any hesitation.
