Unfortunately the room in a boat was not available, because previous guests did some damage, but they offered a whole apartment nearby, that was even better option because it was in a silent courtyard.. they offered me one free night the next day on a boat, but I had to leave sooner .. they arranged a good breakfast on the boat and offered me a very good price to cime to Karnak... My recommendations!

The friendly captain of the ship let us stand next to him and gave us tea when we went through Esna Lock, the staff was always helpful, the food was exceptional throughout. We booked a Presidential Suit because our son was with us. It had a sitting room, a very nice bathroom with excellent water pressure, fruits and snacks in the room, and came with free laundry service. We loved the whole experience. Historia may have timed the docking time at some ports so that the we could visit the ancient monuments when they were least crowded.
